Book Review of 'The Nocturnal Devil: A Griffin Knight Mystery Thriller (The Griffin Knight Series Book 3)'

This was a spectacular book yet again. This is my third book from the author Miguel Angel Hernandez Jr and I can say that the author never fails to write a great mystery thriller. This book again had Griffin Knight as the detective. And the case is of two missing women – Melanie & Manuela. Melanie is a freelance journalist who just lost her husband. Manuela works at a gym. The mortuary is on the same street as the gym. And Melanie goes missing from that street as she had last gone to the mortuary. Manuela was also last seen leaving working and is also believed to be abducted from her street of work. So these two women have this in common: they were abducted from the same location. But this theory is soon proven wrong when Melanie’s house is searched and they find signs of a struggle which suggests that she might have been abducted from her house. But this might also be a cover-up to hide the real location from which she was abducted. Meanwhile, Griffin’s arch enemy Sapphire from the previous book wants to exact revenge from everyone who separated her from Lorenzo and Isabella. She sets up another gang to fight the gang that betrayed her, she also sends people to kill Griffin. So the story gets really intense from here and I don’t want to spoil the plot for you. But I can tell you this, you will have several questions in your mind as you progress through the book, questions like:

Are Melanie and Manuela dead or alive?

Will Griffin be able to find Melanie and Manuela?

Will the culprits be caught?

Did Melanie and Manuela run away?

Is there a new serial killer in town?

Read to find out! I assure you that you wont be able to put this book down once you start reading it. It is a really quick read. I would highly recommend this book to people who like cozy mysteries, thrillers, detective novels, adventure books, etc.
