Barbie:

The Barbie movie was much awaited and over-hyped. The marketing of the movie was phenomenal and the brand collaborations helped the movie a lot. But the movie itself was not as great as the marketing. The plot was not very rich, the character development was also not very great. It was a good movie for people who are not aware of women's issues and women empowerment. But for people who are aware of these things, this movie might just anger them. The props and costumes in the movie were great though making the movie quite visually appealing and pleasant to the eye. The cast were also the perfect choice for the movie according to me. This is a movie that's nice to watch once but I surely cannot watch it twice.

Oppenheimer:

This was a great movie. The plot was interesting. The movie is about the life of the father of the atomic bomb - J Robert Oppenheimer. The movie was filled with intriguing things: atom bombs, hydrogen bombs, physics, Sanskrit, affairs, politics, etc. I liked this movie more than Barbie although initially I had thought I would enjoy Barbie more. The movie felt like it was very long though and sometimes the plot felt repetitive. The dialogues in the movie were phenomenal. This is a movie that I can watch multiple times because it was interesting and had much to learn from. If people are not aware of history, this movie might enlighten them on some important aspects of World War 2. The movie almost felt like I was reading a good book because it was so detailed and informative. A must watch!

LGM:

LGM (Let's Get Married) was a hilarious Tamil movie. The movie is about two colleagues who have been lovers for two years and want to get married. The girl - Meera wants to know the boy's mother first before getting married, so she convinces him that they all go on a trip to get to know each other but on the trip all hell breaks lose and the story unfolds from there. There was not a great plot as such but the movie was very funny and kept everyone laughing all the time. The casting choice was great and so was the writing of dialogues. The plot could have been better or thicker. This is a movie that I would watch again if I wanted to have a good laugh. Other than that, the story itself was not unique and was very typical. But I think the movie could have been enlightening for people who are against love marriages and only think of arranged marriages as a way of living.
