Tiger 3 And Pathaan Similarities

Same Rogue Agent Character

In Pathaan, there is a RAW agent who has gone rogue - John Abraham. In Tiger 3, Emraan Hashmi is an ISI agent who went rogue. Also, their stories for why they went rogue are also similar. John Abraham lost his wife and unborn child because he was captured by some people against whom he had worked on a RAW mission earlier and when these people abducted John Abraham and his pregnant wife, Indian officials did not negotiate the ransom with the goons and they left John Abraham to die. John Abraham goes rogue to avenge the death of his pregnant wife. In Tiger 3, Emraan Hashmi sent his wife to assassinate the Indian General and his wife was pregnant. But Emraan Hashmi's wife died and along with her died their child too. The only difference here is that John Abraham was a good agent before he went rogue and Emraan Hashmi was bad from the beginning, he went against the ISI's wishes even before his wife's death. 

Same Heist

In Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan steals the Raktbeej along with Deepika Padukone because John Abraham wants it. In Tiger 3, Salman Khan steals the PAL codes along with Katrina Kaif because Emraan Hashmi wants them. The only difference is that Shah Rukh Khan does not know that he is stealing Raktbeej for John Abraham but Salman Khan knows that he is stealing the PAL codes for Emraan Hashmi. But still, some of the characters who helped Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan to steal the PAL codes did not know that they were stealing them for Emraan Hashmi (similar to what hampered in Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan). Another difference is that John Abraham really needed Raktbeej but Emraan Hashmi did not actually need the PAL codes, he just used them to try to get Salman Khan hanged and become the hero himself by returning the PAL codes to Pakistan.

Same Savior Situation

In Pathaan, Salman Khan saves Shah Rukh Khan. In Tiger 3, Shah Rukh Khan saves Salman Khan. In Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan was held as a prisoner by Russia. In Tiger 3, Salman is held as a prisoner by Pakistan. In Pathaan, Shah Rukh was caught because Deepika betrayed him and she was on John Abraham's side. In Tiger 3, Salman was caught because Emraan Hashmi ratted him out.

Same Ending

In Pathaan, Shah Rukh killed John. In Tiger 3, Salman killed Emraan. Both villains died.

Conclusion

Overall, I feel like Pathaan and Tiger 3 are the same movies with different actors and slightly different plot.

Books I Have Been Reading Recently (Part 10)

That Night by Nidhi Upadhyay I'm reading this book in a paperback format and have completed around 50 pages. The book is about four friends who played a game of Ouija while at college and a girl of their hostel died. Twenty years later someone is trying to mess with them even though they live in different parts of the world. Intriguing premise. And interesting writing style so far. I think I might like this book, let's see. The book is around 300 pages long. The Spanish Love Deception by Elena Armas This book is about Lina and Aaron Blackford - two colleagues who initially seemingly hate each other but somehow end up becoming each other's fake dates to some major events. I've read like 150 pages of this book so far and am finding it repetitive and boring as of now. Let's see how it goes. Five Most Patriotic Movies on Amazon Prime Video India Right Now

Raazi This movie was a solid 4.5/5 stars in my opinion. What I liked the most about this movie is that it portrays a young girl who spies for her country against all odds. The movie is based on a true story and it shed light on the unsung heroes of Indian history. The main character Sehmat left college, married and lived in Pakistan, so that she could gain intel about the upcoming war. The intel gathered by her and other spies helped India to get prepared for the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971 and the Ghazi attack. The movie is based on a book called "Calling Sehmat." Alia Bhatt plays the role of the lead actress and she was able to represent what the real Sehmat would have felt like - scared, brave, patriotic, loving, dangerous, caring, human, selfless and a thousand more indescribable emotions.
