Books I Have Been Reading Recently (Part 9)
Twisted Hate by Ana Huang
So this is the third book in the Twisted series by Ana Huang and I have read the first two books which were: Twisted Love and Twisted Games and I really liked them, so started reading Twisted Hate too but I am not liking this one as much as I liked the first two books. I especially liked Twisted Games a lot but Twisted Hate is just not doing it for me. I am not able to relate much with the characters and I feel like they are not as interesting as the author intended them to be. I am almost going to finish the book anyway, only 2 hours and some minutes of it are left as I am reading this book on Audible. I might give this book 3/5 stars mostly but might give it 4/5 stars if I somehow like the ending.
The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides
This book is so hyped on booktok, bookstagram and booktube and so I thought I'd give it a try and so I purchased it. But I am not liking it so far, it's dull and kinda boring. The premise is interesting but the writing is not. I have read about 100 pages so far and I don't know anything more about the main character than when I started reading the book. The pacing is very slow. One good thing about the book is that the chapters are short which makes it easy to read. I actually had very high expectations for this book since it is of the mystery genre which is one of my most favorite genres. I might give the book a 3/5 stars but if the pacing improves, I'll give it a 4/5 stars.
