That Waffle Place

I have ordered from here before through online delivery platforms but recently I went and ate at their shop for the first time. They have quite a few branches I think. We went to the one in Alwarpet. We ordered their Frozen Hot Chocolate and Belgian Biscoff Waffle. I did not taste the frozen hot chocolate but the biscoff waffle was good although it would have been better if they added biscoff biscuit crumbles along with the biscoff spread. The place also had some games like jenga which kept us entertained. Overall, I would rate the place a 4/5 stars.

Maison Indulgence

We went to this place recently due to the Instagram hype that it has. But unfortunately, for us, it did not live up to the hype. We felt that all the items were overpriced. We ordered the Basque cheesecake and did not like it all. Ambience was okay-ish, too noisy. I would rate this place 1/5 stars. This place is also situated in Alwarpet.

Mexe

Another place which is in Alwarpet - Mexe. We ordered their cauliflower tacos and cheesy nachos. Nachos were like papad. And the taco shell was too oily. Quantity was good. Ambience was okay-ish - small space, not noisy, clean, well-lit. The place has both veg and non veg options. Overall, I would give it a 3/5 stars. 

Sage and Lavendar

Recently we've been going a lot to Alwarpet and this place too is in Alwarpet. The ambience was good - not noisy, flowers on the table, beautiful chandelier, dimly lit. The menu options felt very limited and the items were overpriced. Quantity was also very less. We ordered nachos and spaghetti. Nachos were like papad and the pasta too was very below average in taste. Overall, 2/5 stars.

Go Pizza

This place is in EA mall. It has other branches too I think. We ordered a medium margherita pizza with cheese & corn garlic bread. Quantity was good. Taste was good too but a little sweet. Would rate this place a 3.75/5 stars. The pizza was uniquely shaped and cut. The ambience was noisy since it was a food court. But customer service people were nice while taking order.

Ottoman's Baklava

This place is also in EA mall. It might have other branches too. We ordered assorted baklavas which included chocolate baklava, pista baklava amongst other flavors. I felt it was too sweet and not hot. But the price point was good. The quantity was good too. No place to sit and eat though. Would rate this place a 3.5/5 stars.

Five Most Patriotic Movies on Amazon Prime Video India Right Now

Raazi This movie was a solid 4.5/5 stars in my opinion. What I liked the most about this movie is that it portrays a young girl who spies for her country against all odds. The movie is based on a true story and it shed light on the unsung heroes of Indian history. The main character Sehmat left college, married and lived in Pakistan, so that she could gain intel about the upcoming war. The intel gathered by her and other spies helped India to get prepared for the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971 and the Ghazi attack. The movie is based on a book called "Calling Sehmat." Alia Bhatt plays the role of the lead actress and she was able to represent what the real Sehmat would have felt like - scared, brave, patriotic, loving, dangerous, caring, human, selfless and a thousand more indescribable emotions.
