I was at a sugarcane juice stall the other day. We had ordered some sugarcane juice to drink and I was observing the man as he made the juice. He was taking the sugarcane and putting it in a machine. The machine compressed the sugarcane and the juice was being collected in a big bowl covered by a cloth. Once the man put the sugarcane and the machine did its work and the cane came out, the cane looked so dry and non-fleshy that I thought "That's it, this one is done, he has to use another sugarcane stick for the rest of the juice". But the man continued to put the same stick again and again for two-three times and I was shocked to see more and more juice come out each out. Then I thought, the same happens with us humans. We do something great, we get exhausted and we think this is what we are capable of, we think that this is our limit, we think that our luck has run out or our good time is now over. But there is always some or more spirit in us just like the sugarcane had

Jigarthanda DoubleX I mainly wanted to watch this movie because S J Suryah is in it and I really liked his recent performances in Mark Antony and also Manadu. But the story of the movie was very sad. I did like the movie though and I  would rate it a 4/5 stars. The premise is somewhat similar to the Hindi movie Bachan Pandey but the message of the movie is entirely different. The story is about a goon (played by Raghava Lawrence) who wants to be a hero in the first Indian movie which has a dusky lead as he himself is dusky and is made fun of on one ocassion because of it. The person whom he chooses to direct the movie is a person who wants to kill him because this person was wrongfully sent to jail for a crime that Raghava Lawrence did. This wrongfully accused character is played by S J Suryah. From here, the movies gets interesting and we see some funny parts and some sad parts. We see how Raghava Lawrence's character goes from goon to hero overnight. Overall, an awesome movie and

Scum Island is an amazing book, I was hooked on its pages from the very beginning. The book is about the main character – Fong who is put into a game – Scum Island. There he meets Wardog who tells him things about Scum Island. Fong is not the only person who is in this game. There are others like him who were unwillingly put into the game and there are enemies too. So Wardog is one among the innocent people who was put into the game two years before Fong. So, these people have to fight for survival and the purpose of the game is to earn fame points – the more fame points you have, the longer you will survive because the more fame points you have, the more interesting you became to the viewers of the game. So it gave a bit of Jumanji vibes except for the part that this was done for the pleasure of the viewers. The book gets really interesting from here and it is a must read if you love fantasy, adventure and action novels. I really liked the world-building and the character development

O everlasting light, Take away our fright And give us might And delight Along with foresight. This prayer is already true in a way. Light does take away our fright when we are scared of darkness. And when we light lamps, it brings us delight because of the sheer number of lights in the room. And when we are scared of darkness and we use light, it does give us some might. It also lets us see things which are far away yet approaching, so it gives us foresight too. But with this prayer, what I actually mean is.. When I say 'light', I am referring to the Gods and Goddesses. And I am asking God to take away the fears that we have within ourselves. I am asking God to give us strength to be graceful throughout suffering. I am asking God to give us the wisdom to stay happy with what we have and what we are. I am asking God to help us take decisions which are future-proof. 

Same Rogue Agent Character In Pathaan, there is a RAW agent who has gone rogue - John Abraham. In Tiger 3, Emraan Hashmi is an ISI agent who went rogue. Also, their stories for why they went rogue are also similar. John Abraham lost his wife and unborn child because he was captured by some people against whom he had worked on a RAW mission earlier and when these people abducted John Abraham and his pregnant wife, Indian officials did not negotiate the ransom with the goons and they left John Abraham to die. John Abraham goes rogue to avenge the death of his pregnant wife. In Tiger 3, Emraan Hashmi sent his wife to assassinate the Indian General and his wife was pregnant. But Emraan Hashmi's wife died and along with her died their child too. The only difference here is that John Abraham was a good agent before he went rogue and Emraan Hashmi was bad from the beginning, he went against the ISI's wishes even before his wife's death.  Same Heist In Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan steal

The above poem was born in my mind when I was going to collect the lamps from around the house. So during Deepavali, we light lamps and keep them all around the house. And after the lamps run out of oil and stop burning, we collect them, clean them and store them. So on one such ocassion, I was up and about to go collect the lamps. I found one lamp which was burning just a little, it was out of oil, just a little left. And I thought, should I take it or let it run its course? And then I thought the same thing happens to humans. We all start with some energy, some momentum, but when we are about to run out of energy or when we lose focus, people around us (friends, colleagues, siblings, etc) or people above us (teachers, professors, managers, parents, etc) have two choices: either to pick us up, help us, believe in us or to give up on us. You get badges for participation for registering and also for getting your PRs accepted. You also get a reward kit of all four of your PRs are accepted.
